Sorry to hear that the race did not go as well this year as you would have liked. Hopefully you had fun with it.

Babylon 5 Season 3 DVDs will be released August 12th 2003. YEAH!!!
Stargate SG-1 Season 3 DVDs are released June 17th.
Highlander Season 2 DVDs are released July 17th.
Farscape DVD's are still way over priced, they insist on only put 2 episodes on each DVD and charging 25 dollars per DVD. The only season they have a box set for is season 1 and that is around 170 dollars. They are up through Season 3 in the individual DVDs.
Have fun, I am going home to see how far I can get in Legend of Zelda Wind Waker.

2 DVDs per set at the moment. Season box-set wise we've had S1 of Farscape and B5. B5 S2 is due out this month.

Interesting, in the states you cannot by the individual DVD's for B5, they only come in the box sets.

Ray's next adventure...
Endurance rally on the motorcycle. 700 to 1000 miles in 24 hours (Hey...Shawn and I did that going to Boston, no biggie). This takes place next weekend, June 14-15. So far, my long excursions have been...one. 240 miles last year on a run up to Roseville (outside Sacramento) and back. This one has checkpoints and navigational challenges (anyone thinking AirRace?). So, I'm working getting ready, asking a bunch of questions, checking on preparations, etc. Should be fun. If at some point, it's too much, I'll accumulate as much riding time and mileage as possible and consider it fun.
There's a why to this, too. In January 2002, one rider was killed by a driver of a pickup going 60MPH down a foggy (100' visibility...takes 188' to stop from 60MPH) country road on the shoulder. Traffic had stopped due to the fog and that the road goes from two lanes to one lane...a road the pickup driver was familiar with. Charged with negligent homicide, the court system worked out a punishment with a second judge (first one didn't like the plea-bargain as too light...60 days confinement) at 60 days, 30 suspended, 200 hours of community service, $500k restitution for basically lost wages. There are some more incredible issues and stories, but in my opinion, the driver got a good lawyer that almost got no confinement at all. The rally is dedicated to this motorcyclist as well as a means of raising funds for his family, who's sole support was his income. 52 years old...kind of hits home, too.
So, wish me luck, and hope that I remember everything when I leave. I'll let everyone know how neat things really were.
